This property is located in the southeastern portion of the Gunsight Ranch. It is dramatic, part of the property being slightly rolling close to flat, and part going down a steep angle into the beautiful ravine below. There is a change in elevation of almost 200 feet. To the southeast are the beautiful Sierra Blanca Mountains, while to the west you have the scenic Finlay Mountains. There is a tank just over half a mile to the northeast, and another one about a mile to the north. This huge property is 1/6 mile wide by 1/4 mile long. The view is impressive. There is a tremendous promontory facing southwest on which you might consider building a hunting camp, a retreat, or a home.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: From Interstate 10 and the county seat of Sierra Blanca, you will drive north on paved Route 1111 for about 18 miles. At the Gunsight Ranches sign, you will turn left and follow the maintained gravel road straight west for 6 miles to the cattle guard entrance gate to the Gunsight Ranches. Continue on the road for another 2.2 miles then turn south on Cheyenne Road. 5.73 miles just before you reach the tank you can drive southwest cross-country for about 2/3 of a mile to the property. When you're actually on the ground you might see a better way to go.
The plat map we provide with the sales package will give you all of the GPS info for the area. All of the roads that are on the Ranch are considered unmaintained roads. Some of these roads have been graded and some have not been graded in yet. If you are driving in from the Cornudas area, you will drive south on Route 1111 for 23 miles. At the Gunsight Ranches sign, you will turn right and follow the same above directions to the property.
