The Gunsight Ranch is a Unique Shared Ranch Where Each and Every Owner Has the Right to Use the Entire 50 Square Mile Ranch For Hunting, Hiking, Horseback Riding, Camping and Enjoying. There are tremendous natural terrain features that make great backstops for shooting. The ranch is perimeter fenced and there are many watering holes scattered all over the ranch which attract a ton of wildlife. There are mule deer, antelope, quail, wild pigs, mountain lion, aoudad sheep, and oryx. You will enjoy gorgeous terrain: mountains, hills, arroyos, draws, buttes, mesa. The ranch is not over populated with hunters - far from it. Many owners live out of state and never even visit their land.

26.62 acre properties have a 2 hunter restriction. Hunting rights will be granted after at least $1,000 has been paid towards the principal of the purchase price.
53.24 acre properties have a 4 hunter restriction. Hunting rights will be granted after at least $2,000 has been paid towards the principal of the purchase price.

The Terrain Throughout the Ranch is Lightly to Heavily Rolling with Mountains and large hills covering most of the Southwest Side. You Will Find The Views To Be Incredible Beyond Words! It is covered in thick native grasses and sage with some cacti and medium brush. You will be a very short distance from the Finlay Mountains which are to the South and the West and will have a full long view of them.

These Properties are located at 4000 feet in elevation. The Finlay Mountain Range has peaks over 6000 feet and more. Also to the south are The Malone Mountains and Sierra Blanca Peak which is over 7000 feet. To the north is the Sierra Tinaja Pinta Mountains and the Guadalupe Mountains National Park in Northern Culberson County. Here you will see El Capitan, Captain Reef, and Guadalupe Peak, which is The Highest Point in the State at 8749 Feet. Within an easy Drive is the Rio Grande River, Big Bend National Park, Carlsbad Caverns, Hueco Tanks State Historical Park, and Several Other Parks and Points of Interest.

Hudspeth County is Located in Far West Texas Between El Paso County to the West and Culberson County to the East. It sits in the Rio Grande Basin where the soil is primarily made up of top soil, clay, sandy loam, and sand. This is a beautiful area with clean air and water. There is basically No Pollution and No Crime here. The Big Sky presents some of the Most Colorful Sunsets you will ever see. The Night Sky is so clear it will amaze you by how many stars you can see. The Weather is excellent and you will experience 4 Mild Seasons. The Climate is Mild and Dry, with an Average Minimum Temperature of 30 degrees in January and an Average Maximum of 94 degrees in July. The Growing Season is 224 Days a Year, and the Average Annual Rainfall is 10 inches.

These properties are Undeveloped Land. There is Power in portions of the Gunsight Ranch but not on this property. Power would be by solar, generator, wind, or eventual power lines. Water would be by Catchment, Hauling, or Storage. Sewer would be by Septic but only if you build. Cell Phones work almost everywhere. There is legal access to every property. Taxes are only about $75 per year, per 26.62 acres and are current. There are No restrictions and Mobile Homes, Modular Homes, Cabins, and RV's are all allowed. There are No Association Fees. You can also camp on your property while you visit the sites in the area.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Please contact us for driving directions before visiting any of these properties.  You cannot just put the destination GPS into your vehicle's navigation system and go, that won't work.  Gunsight Ranch can only be entered at its northeast corner, your navigation system doesn't know that.  It is likely to take you a different way that will end with you running into a locked gate and turning around to head back.  We recommend getting driving directions from us, and taking along a good quality handheld GPS navigation device.
