This tremendous approximately 50 acre property is Rancho Verde, Township 1, Block 70, Section 22, Tract 4.
It's about 6.6 miles west of the main intersection of Dell City. This is a beautiful area with great mountain views, and is greener than you generally find in west Texas.
The Washburn Draw runs through the middle of the property. It carries rain water from San Antonio Mountain about 20 miles away. The northern and southern portions of the parcel are above the draw. There is a change in elevation of about 100 feet from the bottom of the draw to the top of the high land in the southern area of the property.
We have not been to this property. We can see from Google Earth that power lines run through the southern half of the property. You would need to contact the Rio Grande Electric Co-op to learn about power availability. An old trail road also runs through the southern part of the property. In addition to the trail road, there is an access easement around the perimeter of Section 22.
