This great 20 +/- acre parcel is about 3 1/2 miles south of the famous Gunsight Ranch.  This is good hunting country with excellent mountain views.  The parcel's legal description is Township 7, block 72, Section 6, W2-W2-N2-SW4.

It's rugged varied terrain near the foot of the Finlay Mountains.  The mountain views will be great.  In addition to the nearby Finlay Mountains, the Malone Mountains are about 3 miles to the south and the peak of Sierra Blanca Mountain is about 9 miles to the southeast.  There are many arroyos in the area bringing runoff down from the Finlays.  Elevation will vary by about 50 or 60 feet throughout the parcel.  There's a good trail road about half a mile west of the property.

Interstate 10 is about 6 1/2 miles to the south, and the county seat of Sierra Blanca is about 15 miles to the southeast.

Driving Directions:

From Sierra Blanca drive west on Interstate 10 for 7.8 miles.

Take Exit 99 toward Lasca Road.

0.2 mile later merge onto the access road.

0.2 mile later at 31°13'2.47"N, 105°28'55.79"W turn right onto Lasca Road.

9.3 miles later at 31°15'48.50"N, 105°35'52.78"W turn right onto the trail road.

1.38 miles later at 31°16'55.52"N, 105°35'46.33"W the trail road curves to the right then continues approximately north-northeast.

1.12 miles later the parcel will be about 143 yards east of you.

There are several different systems of GPS coordinates in use today.  Before driving to one of our properties using our GPS coordinates for guidance, be sure that you understand which system your handheld GPS navigation system is set up to use.  On this website we use the traditional Degrees Minutes Seconds (DMS) system.  Your device can probably be set to use any of the commonly used systems.  It will have to be set to use the Degrees Minutes Seconds system in order to be consistent with our coordinates, or if you wish to use a different system such as Degrees Decimal Minutes or Decimal Degrees, we will be happy to convert our coordinates for you into whatever system you need.  But it is crucial that you use coordinates that are consistent with the settings in your handheld navigation device.  If your navigation device is not using the same system as the coordinates that you are using for reference, you will end up in the wrong location.
