Property Description and Access

Lot 5 is a large, approximately 1 acre property.  It is in a nice secluded area.  However it is only about 1.5 miles north of Highway 60.  This is one of those great have your cake and eat it too situations, a nice quiet area yet a major highway is nearby.  Interstate 25 and Highway 47 are also just a few minutes away. 

Lot 5 is along platted Reyes Avenue.  This street was graded in long ago, and has faded because nobody has been driving on it.  You can also see where the road was graded when you look at the property from above in Google Maps using satellite view.  You can leave the road easements as they are, or you can re-grade them.  You can also see that someone has built a residence about 200 yards to the south, so driving access doesn't seem to be an issue.  Reyes Avenue was graded many years ago and has faded since nobody has been driving on it.  You can wear it in again by driving on it or by grading it.

Power is in the area, but has not been run to this property.  You will probably to find it more economical to use solar.  For power availability, please contact the electric utility PNM.  For water you can contact a well driller to see if that is a good choice for you, or use haulage.

  • Turn north off of Highway 60 onto Garcia St at 34.422721 -106.710692.
  • 1.32 miles later turn right onto Ochoa Ave at  34.441901 -106.710693.
  • 0.51 mile later turn left onto Hernandez St at 34.441942 -106.701633.
  • 0.3 mile later turn right onto Reyes Ave 34.446241 -106.701583.
  • 0.14 mile later Lot 5 will be on your right.
  • You might prefer a different route than the one described above.
