Beautiful Albuquerque Area in the Rio Grande River Valley


These are nice RV and Camping Lots located just outside Los Lunas, New Mexico in Valencia County. Los Lunas is the County seat and has a population of over 15,000. The main population of the area is along the I-25 corridor and the Rio Grande River.  The Dalies Townsites lie to the West of this main corridor.  

The Dalies Town Sites is an under-developed community. Nearby you will find homes scattered amongst areas with no development.  There are many nice homes in the already developed areas.  

This subdivision is conveniently located and is only 2.6 miles from State Highway 6, 7.3 miles from I-25 and 8 miles from downtown Los Lunas. You will only be a couple miles from Lowe's, Super Walmart as well as Walmart's central distribution center for the entire state, shopping centers, businesses, churches, schools, a senior center, and many homes.

The area is level with native grasses and there are stunning views in every direction.  Only 3 miles to the east is El Cerro De Los Lunas with 1,444 acres of designated open space offering outdoor recreational activities including hiking, biking and horseback riding. A little further East is the Massive Manzano Mountains which tower over 10,000 feet and offer breathtaking views of the Rockies. There are also several National Forest and Wilderness Areas within a short drive.  They offer an incredible variety of outdoor activities such as mountain bike riding, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, canoeing, snow skiing, horseback riding, ATV riding, sightseeing, and just relaxing. 

22 miles North on I-25 will bring you to Albuquerque, which is the largest city in New Mexico and is home to the annual International Balloon Fiesta.  Also nearby is the Tierra Del Sol Country Club and Golf Course in Belen! And don't forget the large Resort and Casino in Isleta that is just a 25 minute ride away. 

Los Lunas is an active Community with many new businesses and plans for expansion and improvements. This area is rapidly growing in value and popularity as well. Facebook has recently chosen Los Lunas as a location to build their new Facebook Data Center. This 980,000 square foot complex opens in 2018 and will provide many jobs and boost the housing market. This new data center is projected to have nearly $2 billion in fiscal and economic impacts over a 10-year time period. 

A new hospital is supposed to be built in Belen which will be another huge boost to this area! At the very next exit to the north on I-25, a large 1,500 home subdivision is nearing completion.  Another developer has purchased a 6,000 acre tract near the same exit and has been developing it.  

In early 2007 the Regional Transportation District opened the New Mexico Rail Runner Express which provides a rail connection to Albuquerque, Santa Fe and other Rio Communities. Residents are now able to live in the Belen/Los Lunas area and work in Albuquerque, commuting on this light rail system.  

Elevation of 5,300 feet makes for near perfect weather year round.  The summer highs are in the 80's & 90's with the winter highs in the 50's.  There are about 350 sunny days per year making this area "the sunniest in the country".  Come see why New Mexico is known as "The Land Of Enchantment"!

These lots are smaller lots great for Camping, Rving or just as an Investment! There is maintained county road frontage into this subdivision.  Every parcel has legal access on platted road frontage but most of the roads have not been graded in yet. Every property was surveyed and pinned when the subdivision was laid out and approved, although these markers may not all be visible today.

Electric Lines run along the East and South of the Subdivision but are not to every property yet. There are no association fees. Cell phones are normal. Taxes are about $5 per year, per lot and are current.

Once City Utilities reach this Subdivision, each lot would then become buildable and much more valuable!
